Home recorded in December 2021 and early January 2022.
Mixed by Davide Cedolin.
Davide Cedolin: acoustic guitar, bowed banjo, harmonica, organ, field recordings.
Paolo Tortora: electric guitars on "I'm a Villager", "Amidst" and "Sunshine Loners Smile".
All the tracks are sort of extemporary guitar contemplations at first and one shot recorded; in a second time other instruments and field recordings have been added.
Mastered by Anders Peterson at GS Mastering and Post Stockholm, Sweden.
Artwork: Davide Cedolin.
CD design and layout: Lucy Adlington.

"...These eight songs of gorgeous, transcendent meditations tickled just the right part of my brain. I put the album on as the sun was rising over the ridge and the quiet yet complex, straightforward but soothing sounds were the perfect early morning soundtrack. This is Italian primitive, rustic and charming; making the most of simple elements. The field recordings of the crackling fire add intimacy, while the bowed banjo and organ add depth..." -- Petal Motel.

"Davide Cedolin, a Ligurian musician, is one of the best names in solo guitar music today. All his releases play like the auditory dreams of pastoral landscapes. Contemplations and other Instrumentals from the Valley is perhaps the most vivid example of this vibe yet.
Comprised of eight languid instrumentals, this record features Cedolin’s sympathetic fingerpicking interplaying with the sounds of nature, ethereal strands of bowed banjo and crystalline electric guitar..." -- Record Crates United.
